Own if you want a bigger, custom site that's yours outright — choose a one-time build (Spark, Orbit, Galaxy or Nebula), then a monthly care plan keeps it hosted, secure and monitored. Not sure? What does "we host it" include, and what are usage overages?
Every plan includes fast, secure hosting on a global network — you never touch a server. It also includes a generous amount of usage (bandwidth, requests, storage and more), and most sites never come close to the limit. If your site becomes very popular and uses more than your plan includes, we pass that extra usage along at the fair, published rates above. We always alert you first — you're never charged a surprise.
Do I have to put a card on file?
For your build and plan, we send a clear written quote and invoice. We keep a card on file only to cover usage overages if you exceed your plan — and never without telling you in advance. If you'd rather pre-approve a monthly cap, we can set one up.
Who owns my website and domain?
Any site we build for you one-time is yours outright, along with your content and your domain. Spark Lite is a hosted monthly plan — we build and run the site for you for as long as you subscribe, while your content and domain always stay yours. If you ever decide to leave, we'll help you export and move everything cleanly.
Can I take my website somewhere else?
Yes — every one-time build is yours outright, so you can leave anytime with zero lock-in. Site handoff (full code export) is $250: we package your complete site — clean, portable code and all assets — and hand it over the same day, yours to host anywhere. Prefer it done for you? Site handoff + setup & training is $500: everything in the export, plus we deploy it on your hosting, connect your domain and DNS, and give you a 1-on-1 training session.
